THE COFFEE
Grown in the heart of Colombia’s central mountains — one of the most celebrated coffee regions in the world — this regional lot is a testament to just how good decaf can be.
Carefully selected from high-altitude farms known for their rich volcanic soil and ideal growing conditions, these Excelso-grade beans bring clarity, balance, and a touch of sweetness to every cup. We're super excited to have a Mountain Water Process decaf from Colombia, this is the first one we've ever been able to get our hands on!
So once the hard work sourcing the coffee has taken place, the team send it over to get decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process which involves sourcing natural mountain water from Pico De Orizaba (one of the largest mountains in Mexico). Since 2003 Mountain water process has been certified as organic (under NOP, EU, JAS, COR and SAGARPA regulations) and certified as well following sustainability trends by RFA, UTZ, FLO, Fair Trade USA, Bird Friendly.

I found this coffee to be smooth, more subtle than say an espresso coffee - slightly sweet, chocolatey. A balanced flavour. Very easy to drink.
This decaf coffee is so smooth and rich. I’m not a coffee drinker, but wanted to serve a quality decaf to my guests. After tasting it, I’ve turned into a casual coffee drinker and will definitely order this again.
