Our beans are carefully sourced and roasted darker to bring out the intense flavors of silky dark chocolate, walnut praline, and burnt toffee.

Tasting Notes:

I'm sipping this decaf now, tasting silky Dark Chocolate and Walnut Praline upfront. The next flavour for me is burnt toffee, imagine the crispy crust of a creme brulee. All of these flavours are layered on top of a distinct Malty/Cocoa base.

Before releasing this decaf, the most common question we would receive was "What's your strongest decaf?" our answer was always a split between 2 or 3 options which didn't really answer that question clearly because our general roast style is a Medium roast.

We now have an answer for you, a decaf to please those chasing a bold-tasting brew without tasting bitter and burnt! We wanted to cover all bases of a good dark roast coffee and this is a super tasty place to start!

We also know how much you guys love Swiss Water Process decafs so we made sure we built this blend with that in mind!

Seriously good

This is by far the best decaf I’ve tried. I love strong coffee 2 shots each cup - and it’s strong and dark without being bitter.

The tough road

Changing to decaf for your health can daunting process. You have drunk espresso coffee all your life, now you need to change.
There are some excellent decaf coffee pods, but very few beans. Problematic if you are old fashioned.
Fortunately Dark Knight and some of the other blends that I have tried so far are excellent. Perhaps a little more sugar in the roasting stage would give an even better flavour for the espresso maker? A bit like the dark Italian roast.
Excellent nonetheless and I will continue as a customer.

Absolutely love this coffee!

I’ve recently made the switch to decaf for my anxiety and high blood pressure. The decaf co have made it so easy, it honestly tastes better than the cafes. I bought myself a little delonghi coffee machine to also steam my own milk and now I haven’t bought coffee from outside in over 3 weeks. Dark knight is our favourite as it’s strong, but the other flavour I bought is amazing also. We are so glad to have found this company and they’re local too!

Really love this decafe, don’t even miss the caffeine!

First timer

Hi. I had the dark night blend and it was surprisingly strong which is how I like my normal coffee. I did notice when drinking there was no lingering coffee taste (which I was used to) . I kind of missed that but it could be an aspect of all decaf coffees, I don’t know. I will explore more to test my theory but I think I will be back as the coder did taste lovely
