The farm & philosophy

After years working in environmental restoration, Tesfaye Bekele established Suke Quto and the Suke Quto Washing Station, now supporting over a hundred local outgrowers. The farm sits at 1,800–2,000 MASL on rich volcanic soils, uses organic composting, manages mill water in dedicated lagoons, and invests back into the community (including local school initiatives). It’s coffee grown with care—and it shows in the cup.

Fabulous coffee!

It’s a coffee! Full flavour. Friends questioned me when I served the decaf assuming I had just served regular coffee. Fabulous for an afternoon pick me up!

Dark rich looking bean. Beautiful pour with dark thick crema. Well balanced and strong taste. I think it's the best of the range so far, especially if you're chasing a more robust and stronger coffee. Highly recommend.

Sorry guys, but this is nothing like a full flavoured indonesion/ Sumatran coffee. We regularly drink these coffee's and if im being honest I couldn't tell the difference between this and the some of your other decaffs we always get. There is certainly nothing bold about it. We'll be sticking to our regular decaff we get from you.

While no decaf coffee is 100% caffeine-free, the Swiss Water Process removes 99.9% of caffeine, leaving you with a rich, smooth brew without the jitters. In fact our last batch of decaf was tested for caffeine content and was found to be 99.973% caffeine free.

Is your decaf coffee organic?

If our beans are listed as Organic that means they've been grown under the Certified Organic guidelines and sourced from sustainable farms that prioritize environmental responsibility and quality.

Will decaf coffee taste different from regular coffee?

Not at all! The Swiss Water Process maintains the bean’s natural flavor profile, so you still get a rich and flavorful cup—just without the caffeine, while still highlighting the flavours from it Origin's growing region.
