This coffee won a silver medal in the world's largest coffee roasting competition Golden Bean 2024.


We were super excited to win this, in all honesty we kinda knew this was going to win something because it's tastes so dang good!


On a 250km route from Oaxaca city towards the Pacific Coast, you'll find the renowned coffee region, Pluma. Old, extinct volcanoes dot the landscape, contributing to the fertile volcanic soil ideal for coffee cultivation.

The region's humid climate, coupled with significant rainfall, nurtures the coffee plants. Thankfully, during coffee harvest, the weather remains predominantly dry.


Traditional varieties, including Pluma Hidalgo, Arabica Tipica, and Bourbon, are still grown in this region. Smaller farms with efficient washing and sun drying facilities are common. It's customary for farmers here to thoroughly sort their coffee during the wet milling process, which results in beautifully processed parchment coffee.


From January to March, the main harvest season, the coffee beans are sun-dried, enhancing the coffee's flavour. The region is known for its low production per hectare, typically producing only four bags on average.

Blew my mind

This has to be one of the best decafs, if not the best decaf I've ever had. So tasty and sweet, notes of chocolate and caramel, as if I was having a mocha. I drink regular coffee in the morning and this later in the day and i have to say this is tasting even better than the other blend I'm currently having right now.

Fabulous fresh coffee

I am a self confessed coffee snob. I can’t fault this coffee or delivery. The coffee is super fresh - usually it’s only been roasted a few days prior to delivery. Getting a kilo every six weeks works perfectly for 2 of us who have one coffee a day each.

If our beans are listed as Organic that means they've been grown under the Certified Organic guidelines and sourced from sustainable farms that prioritize environmental responsibility and quality.

Will decaf coffee taste different from regular coffee?

Not at all! The Swiss Water Process maintains the bean’s natural flavor profile, so you still get a rich and flavorful cup—just without the caffeine, while still highlighting the flavours from it Origin's growing region.
