Chai Spice Authentic Ground Chai – Bush Spice flavour is a unique blend using wattleseed native spice. Pure and simple, delicious, and versatile; easy to prepare. What’s not to love about this Australian native spice wattleseed that has a nutty, roasted coffee aroma, with touches of sweetness. Relax!

 

Hot drink

  1. add 1-2 heaped teaspoons to a mug
  2. pour in 250ml hot milk of choice
  3. stir and enjoy

Cold drink

  1. add 2 heaped teaspoons into a mug
  2. pour a little hot water to make a paste
  3. pour in 250ml cold milk of choice
  4. add ice or ice-cream, blend and enjoy

 

Ingredients:

Raw sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, star anise, black pepper, ginger and wattle seed.

Really, really sweet

I’m sure this would be a nice chai if I had a ridiculously high tolerance for sugar. I nearly threw the whole can away after one sip but ultimately decided to keep it for baking. Clearly I didn’t choose well. I’d be keen to try an unsweetened version.

Really enjoy this Chai, have one every day (alternate with the Vanilla!) Love that it isn't tea based, and I can use it to flavour my porridge too. Will be a staple in my pantry for sure.
