I purchased a 3 x pack sampler and so I'm loving ever sip!! By far the best decaf I've ever had in my life.... including any coffee shop. Would recommend to any decaf lover...... you can have your coffee and love it too.

Beautiful coffee

I’ve only tried one of the 3 coffees in my sample pack of 3 so far-I didn’t want to have them all open at once-which is a Colombian brew produced by the Swiss Water process. It really is rich and beautiful, probably as nice as any coffee I’ve ever tasted -decaffeinated or caffeinated! I love making one late at night with my machine and just savouring the taste- delicious! I can’t wait to try the other two coffees in the pack.

I gave some to my wife and the first thing she said was "this just tastes like a good filter coffee", and that's what this is; a really good filter coffee with beautiful creamy chocolate textures and soft sugared fruit sweetness. You won't quite get big juicy acidity with most decaf, but this is far and away the best I've tried to date; quite different to other decaf coffees which can tend to be a bit flat and lifeless.

This is an all time favorite in the roastery, it's also the longest serving decaf on our menu, if you want something that is well balanced and ticks all the boxes this is definitely where you should start!

Peruvian coffees are emerging stars in the specialty coffee realm, drawing from the expertise and techniques prevalent in neighboring Colombia and Brazil. This particular Peruvian decaf is known for its comforting, deeply flavorful profile, balanced acidity, an inviting cocoa aroma, and a finish highlighted by almond notes. Sourced from reputable cooperatives such as JUMARP and Cenfrocafe, our coffee provides a link to the communities that cultivate and process these fine beans.

The Swiss Water® Process used for decaffeination of this coffee employs water, gently removing caffeine while maintaining the coffee's inherent flavour and quality. This method results in a premium decaf that coffee lovers can truly savour, knowing it's crafted with care and quality in mind.

Very acidic tasting - not pleasant

I didn’t like the taste of this coffee at all - which was so disappointing given the great reviews. I found it very acidic tasting and had to throw it out. To give you an idea of my coffee tastes I liked their Colombia Popayan and Dark Knight blends -and I also love the Toby’s Estate decaf. So if you like those ones maybe steer clear of this blend.

This decaf is a Medium roast and has tasting notes explaining it has peach-like acidity. I think it's obvious your personal palette is extremely sesitive to acidity which is leaning you toward darker heavier roasts. I think when buying decafs you really need to look for dark roasts! We can guarantee that any order leaving our warehouse has been roasted fresh within 48hrs. Nothing leaves our roastery a minute older. You may think, "Well what do you do with the older decafs? Throw them out?"

That's a fair question, well, we distribute these throughout our network of cafes who will use the decaf much quicker before it goes stale!

In most cases we opt to use couriers as they are much quicker at the moment then AusPost. There are exceptions depending on your location whether you're rural or metro. Either way you have an option to choose AusPost Express during checkout if you wish.

For starters we only purchase the best decafs our coffee importers have on offer. If that wasn't good enough, you'll find that we have the biggest selection of decafs in Australia. No one, has this many options and is able to roast them fresh. We're dedicated to decaf! :)
