Recipe:

Hot drink:

  1. add 1-2 heaped teaspoons to a mug
  2. pour in 250ml hot milk of choice
  3. stir and enjoy!

Cold drink

  1. add 2 heaped teaspoons into a mug
  2. pour a little hot water to make a paste
  3. pour in 250ml cold milk of choice
  4. add ice or ice cream, blend and enjoy!

Works in a pinch

I like the spice blend, and I appreciate that it has only spices so it is caffeine free but I find the sugar to spice ratio is a little sweet for my taste. But to everyone else I've served it to it's been a huge hit! My personal solution was to add spicy ginger powder to reduce the sweet ratio and give it a bit of a kick. Would I purchase again? Personally I wouldn't, but it did give me a better understanding of spice ratios to make my own. Would I recommend it to others? If you like a sweeter, easy-to-use chai then definitely! It is by no means a bad product. It is of good quality!

I was a tad disappointed with myself & with the product as I had ordered a big bag of this without paying too much attention to the ingredients. The first two ingredients are sugar which is not what I had hoped for(tea leaves & spices would have been preferable) I find it far too sweet & would have preferred without the sugar & adding my own honey as desired, it has hardly been touched since purchased. I’m sure ingredients are of good a quality just not what I had hoped for🌿
